here's a review of NASA DUDE's first 7", "Space Torpedo Jet":
Oh dear... Without treading on GODCO-ian no-fi territories,
you'll NEVER find lower fi than this. SEBADOH come off sounding
like pompous QUEEN clones in comparison. Don't misunderstand me
now, Danish NASA DUDE are far from a new avantgarde/arty/noise
band, they play, with the exception of the rock'n'rollish opening track,
"Pop." Once melodic, mellow, cute, and defenseless pop songs have been
battered almost beyond recognition with a kind of "musicianship"
completely without any finesse, and a total lack of any kind of
"production." All in all an unlikely, fascinating e.p. with a
cultband-to-be. The hit "No One Like You" almost makes them essential...
Fuck it, you have to hear this! This is a limited edition of 300 so you
