the good ole days... a set list, duh

nerdy girl was a rollicking poppy rocky band from montreal which was chock full of integrity. they were:

cecil SEASKULL: vocals & electric guitar. (formerly of BITE).

jessica MOSS: guitar.

eric CRAVEN: drums.

ron WOO: e. bass. (formerly of GOOD COOKIES).

disco:

i believe they have released three 7"s and a 10" so far. they have also recorded their debut CD for no life records, called "Twist Her."

then cecil moved to L.A: & dropped the nerdy girl tag.

cecil is a true character, to say the least! when she wears high heels she reaches a whopping 5'0". but don't underestimate her, i warn you! it occurred to me one day that she was virtually the MADONNA of montreal. make that the MADONNA of the underground! the italian last names, too... hmmm... the band started out as a duo of just cecil & a guy named gordon. i'll add a link to their page during that era soon. then it evolved into a quartet including gabe (sackville/howard north) LEVINE, kim yum yum, and ron. word has it that an even later incarnation followed the one at the top of this page, but that cecil is now living in los angeles and goes solo. go see her & whomever she is playing with nowadays!!!
