the deservedly infamous JON SPENCER BLUES EXPLOSION tore through
San Francisco one balmy summer night not very long ago, and after my
defeat at the front lines of their invasion in Malmo, Sweden, this time i
hit pay dirt.
i shared a few words with guitarist & occasional singer judah BAUER when
all was said and done. (this is a new feature
here at the home of p.m.r. - every so often a new band will be interviewed
- the 5 W's & How?, plus a story about that age-old indie-rock
institution, crashing at people's homes on tour.) voila.
